Description
This lovely Black Forest Farm home, complete with a mill wheel, depicts a peaceful rural environment. The grandparents eat a big lunch in front of the house. A woman dressed in Black Forest garb stands in front of the farm home chapel, ringing the bell. When the clock strikes twelve, the figure raises its left arm and tugs the bell’s cord. With the chiming of the clock and the playing of the music, the mill wheel on the left side of the house likewise turns.
All of the figurines and decorative pieces are hand-painted and constructed of wood. The shingle roof is another eye-catcher. It’s modeled after authentic Black Forest farm house roofs, with each shingle carefully applied by hand.
